Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary teams in Hamilton, ON, or Calgary, AB. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment & Preventive Care
- Perform comprehensive assessments focused on prevention and long-term health.
- Use advanced diagnostics and imaging to identify root causes and optimize treatment.
- Train in guided injection techniques; recommend minimally invasive procedures in consultation with specialists.
- Collaborative Care Planning
- Develop personalized treatment plans integrating advanced technology and holistic practices.
- Provide patient consultations and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure consistent, innovative care.
- Share insights and outcomes to enhance efficiency, patient satisfaction, and care quality.
- Continuity of Care & Advocacy
- Act as the primary patient contact, supporting them from pre-procedure to recovery and wellness.
- Coordinate timely referrals for seamless specialist access.
- Post-Procedure & Outcome Optimization
- Promote proactive recovery strategies focused on long-term health and complication prevention.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- 2-3 years of experience.
- CCPA certification and licensure with CPSO/CPSA (or equivalent).
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
- BLS certification required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with EMR systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- High degree of autonomy, strong communication, and collaboration within a dynamic, high-volume setting.
